Kathleen F. Sampeck, MA, CRC, CCM, CPC, CRP, CLCPhas a B.A. (1973) and an M.A. (1975) in Rehabilitation Counseling, and a graduate certificate in Advanced Life Care Planning. She has more than 24 years experience in vocational rehabilitation and has been in private practice for more than 15 years providing services in workers compensation, accidental injury, developmentally disadvantaged, and personal or product liability cases; life care planning; expert testimony; and domestic litigation cases. She serves on various boards and committees within the vocational, rehabilitation, and life care planning fields in both the public and private sector.
Robert W. Lester, MS, CRC, CCM, CLCP, CRP, has a B.S. in Business Administration (1967) and an M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling (1993) as well as graduate certificates in Job Development & Placement of Persons with Disabilities (1991) and Advanced Life Care Planning (1995). His broad experience includes more than nine years experience in vocational rehabilitation and more than 30 years working within the Metropolitan D.C. medical, insurance, and business community with for pharmaceutical and medical supply companies. In addition, he owned and operated a successful business for 18 years through 1988. He provides services in workers compensation, accidental injury, developmentally disadvantaged; life care planning; expert testimony; and domestic litigation cases.
Steven W. Nissen, MS, CRC, has a B.S. in Psychology (1994) and an M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling (1997). He has worked in supported living programs in Richmond, Virginia and with children with disabilities for Fairfax County Therapeutic Recreation Services. Mr. Nissen has also been a rehabilitation counselor for the Virginia Department of Rehabilitative Services. He presently provides counseling and job placement services to workers' compensation clients as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and Employment Specialist, as well as research services in support for life care planning and in litigation.
Carolyn A. Sampeck, CRP, has a B.S. in Finance & Economics (1981) and graduate education in Economics and Liberal Studies. She has more than 20 years experience in risk management & corporate finance having worked as an insurance industry analyst, a corporate trainer, a research analyst, corporate lender & chief financial officer. She has worked with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC), in the insurance & finance industries and is a member of the National Association of Forensic Economics. In addition to labor market and economic research for life care plans, litigation and domestic cases, she provides skill assessment, training and outplacement service to Employee Assistance Programs.
